Food Pantry

The food pantry is meant to help people get through a couple days with small amounts of food.  There are larger providers, such as The Action Center, that provide more food, so we try to fill the gaps for people.

The food pantry is open Tuesday and Thursdays from 9 – 11 am.

Hattie Pearl’s: A Café for the Homeless

Hattie Pearl’s is a group of volunteers that serve a hot breakfast and give a sack lunch to the needy.  They are here every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 – 11 am.

Whiz Kids 2

Whiz Kids 2 is a tutoring/mentoring program for middle school students.  The receive one-on-one help with homework, develop relationships with adults who can help them gain valuable life skills, and have teaching and conversation about biblical topics.  For more information or to learn how you can volunteer, visit the Whiz Kids website.

Annual Events

Thanksgiving Dinner: This is held the morning of Thanksgiving Day.  We serve people here and deliver meals.  Last year we served about 450 meals.  Please contact us if you’d like to volunteer or for more information.
